HERSPACE CAFE LTD. ("HerSpace Café", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have — in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form, join the founding list, or email or call us, we collect your name, email address, and any phone number, business details or message content you choose to share.
- Membership & booking information (in future). Once we open, if you become a member or book a room or event, we may collect billing details, membership preferences and booking history to provide the service.
- Technical information. This website is a simple static site and does not set its own tracking cookies. Your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive standard technical data (such as your IP address) as part of delivering those files.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and keep you updated about our opening and founding-member offers, if you've asked us to.
- To provide and administer memberships, café orders, room bookings and events once we are operating.
- To improve our services and understand demand for the space.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We rely on your consent for marketing communications, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate — for example, email, payment processing, booking or accounting providers — and only to the extent they need it to perform that service. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Where it's stored
Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Canada. Where that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, and then securely delete or anonymise it. If you ask us to remove your details from our founding list, we will do so promptly.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. When we begin taking payments, we will use PCI-compliant payment systems and will not store full card numbers ourselves.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw your consent to marketing, at any time. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe, at no charge.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business grows and opens. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
